Today's world-class debate was REALLY good. It's about whether China should have hosted the Olympics. I cannot believe that guy is only 15 years old yet equipped with such high intellectual ability already, and he's representing Singapore! R.I people = smart shiz. I'm glad I went today :)
An overly ambitious friend of mine *cough**cough* has already started revising for EOY. I feel so lazy and stressed! After my fever fades, I shall be a secret closet mugger and study 24/7 so I can shock everyone when I come in first. Though I doubt my afternoon naps and SYF rehearsals will allow for such studious behaviour.
Today after eating at Macs, Elissa and I were discussing about afterlife. She told me that millions of people had this "Near-death" experiences, where they catch a glimpse of Heaven and Hell. Woah hell is real scary - demons piercing you while you're hanging upside-down, acid poured onto your skin over and over and over... Hahahah but my personal hell is to be living in eternity with an empty soul. But when I die, I think I'll rather just completely vanish because I don't want a possibility of hell! ->frightening.
Then there was this girl who did not get raped because she was supposedly guarded by two men (who are angels) and the rapist was scared, so he chose another victim! She didn't know it till the rapist told her. I guess miracles do happen, but when they do, we seldom notice.
