Please keep my family and friends safe from all the shit that's happening around the world,
all the sins and subtle temptations that draw us away from You.
Let us be happy, and not think dark thoughts and do things against our and Your will.

Sometimes I ask myself questions I cannot find answers to.
Why are the suicide rates going higher?
Why are there orphans, single child, girls who get pregnant in their teens only to be ditched by their boyfriends, prostitution?
Why is there depression?
Why are homicides/murders/rapes committed?
Why is there starving and poverty in this world?
Why are people driven to make desperate decisions, ruining the lives of those closest to them?
Why do we let people hurt us over and over?
Why did Adam and Eve eat from the tree of knowledge, leading us to where we are now?
...
Why is this world so messed up!

I mean, we are all rational people with a certain amount of compassion and love, and I am sure we can draw a line between right and wrong, evil and good.
Perhaps, we're all human and temptation leads us to make bad choices. Or maybe we're just too caught up with our emotions, the desires of our heart.

To make myself happier, I try to think of how Heaven is. A perfect sanctuary, free from materialism and our human nature.

It's like the end of the world is coming, as described in the bible.
