Let's try being someone else other than ourselves (or who we pretend to be).
If I were to extract out your beaten-down, low-self esteemed but yet beautiful soul and place it into the body of a model's, would you change, be the same? If I were to extract out your over-confident, proud, and complacent soul from your copacetic self and place it into the body of a worker's, would your pride drag you down? So much for, " It's not about the exterior, but the interior that matters." Your appearance affects your esteem, your pride. It affects the way you dress, tight or loose. But yet again, it does not make a woman who did not win "Miss America" less beautiful than a woman who did.
It's damn hell true that confidence masks insecurity, happiness masks sadness.
We try to laugh away the truth and paint those smiles for others to see. Aren't we a masquerade. We have to make the lie into truth, before it convinces others. So we joke, we laugh, we smile. We tell you to smile, to laugh, to put away the bitter truths painted on your face. We act.
It is indeed weird, how we seek after things we that is not common to us. Forbidden fruit.

Those chains that binds us, it's of our own doing. Each mistake, each regret pulls us back. We make our own mistakes, we live with them, we try to forgive ourselves, we cry to God for forgiveness. Each lie, each tear, is of our doing. Each tinge of jealousy, a pang of regret, a bout of anger, we cultivate it. We indulge in temptation, the subtle call of Satan. Those chains, we increase it, unknowingly, pushing the blame to those around us. The chain binds us, further and further away from what we were at birth. So free yourself. He has the keys, we have the decision to unlock those chains.

winter, it's coming.

The rest, is darkness. And she was caught between her misfortunes and her dreams. Damn it, how the hell do I get out of this labyrinth...
