I'm putting my heart out on display there's no,
masquerade, just a funeral march for love today
the band strikes up and they're playing our song
Dressed in black and we're singing along, to the
broken hearts parade, I've never been better than I am today
Good Charlotte- Broken Hearts Parade

in·stant (ĭn'stənt) n.
1. An almost imperceptible space of time.
2. A particular or precise time

When a bullet fires through your friend's head, people will comfort you by saying, "Don't worry, I'm sure he/she felt no pain, his/her death was just instant."
Is that pain really instantaneous? Or perhaps, they were in paralysis: restricted, eyes close, limbs numb, heart aching, emotions running through their mind, mouth shut. I think they feel the pain, and they're mistaken as dead.
Is 'instant' really what the world define it to be?
Instant noodles aren't really instantaneous, are they. They take a minute to prepare.
"We'll arrive in an instant!" Oh, not true at all.
How about instant healing? Does it really take an instant?

Sometimes the world distorts truth, sometimes the world mistakes beauty, sometimes the world forms stereotypes. (oh yes, that's totally un-related) I want to know:
How then, how do we differenciate black from white, wrong from right, ugly from beautiful?
