When our time is up
When our lives are done

Will we say we've had our fun?

Will we make a mark this time?
Will we always say we tried?

Today I asked myself this: when I look back next time, will I regret the decisions I made this year? No, I don't regret anything this year. I'm happy for everything that happened; the friendships that were made, those hugs that were shared, me crying over empty things, flunked grades, aced grades, being a cast in bright new world, even being dissapointed many times, etc... I guess all these experiences help me to learn.

Sometimes I indulge in self-pity, blaming others for things that have happened, but I have to realise that the world goes on, the time ticks by. This world won't wait for a mere person to wake up and move on, it just... continues.

Next year is a new start.
